We want you to be satisfied with your order.
Therefore, we accept all items back within 30 days of delivery.

Return shipping is free within Germany. We will send you a DHL label with a QR code.

You don’t need a printer and can drop off your return at a parcel station, in the store, or with your delivery person.

Description

Plötulopi from Istex is the original Icelandic wool and is ideal for Icelandic sweaters with a very special feel and authentic look.

The wool is not spun and is delivered on 100g sheets.

Before knitting, you should definitely wind the wool into a ball, as this will make it less likely to tear. A wool winder is ideal for this.

The wool is usually knitted with two threads - the thickness then roughly corresponds to that of Lettlopi. The best way to do this is to wind a ball of 2 threads. Simply take the thread out of the plate from the outside and inside.

The combination with a mohair yarn as a thread is also very nice.

As unspun wool, Plötulopi is very delicate - it tears very quickly and it takes some practice to knit with it.

As a reward, you will also receive unique knitted pieces and a special knitting experience.
