You knit your Peacock Shirt seamlessly from the top down in rounds using the summer yarn Mandarin Petit by Sandnes Garn. Because it is made of pure cotton, it is wonderfully natural yet soft and light, and feels great directly against the skin. Mandarin Petit also comes in wonderfully vibrant colors while remaining understated and matte.

Size guide

The Peacock Shirt is designed with 7–14 cm of positive ease. It is shown here with 9 cm of positive ease. To choose your size, measure your bust circumference (or the widest part of your upper body). Then first look at the measurements in the pattern (these are the finished measurements of the shirt). Positive ease is the difference between your personal measurements and the shirt measurements. For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm, you will have 11 cm of positive ease in size M. (105 cm – 94 cm = 11 cm). The length is measured at the center back, including the neckband.
