Yarn kit for the PetiteKnit Novice Slipover with Double Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair by Sandnes Garn.

The PetiteKnit Novice Slipover is a very easy-to-knit, simple sweater vest. 

The model is perfect for beginners. You knit in stockinette stitch from the top down. 

The back is worked first. Stitches are then picked up along its cast-on edge to shape the shoulders, which are subsequently joined at the front in the round to form the front.

The front and back are joined under the armholes to form the body, which is worked in the round on a circular needle. Stitches are picked up around the neckline and armholes for the ribbed edgings.

Size guide

The Novice Slipover should have approximately 17 cm of positive ease in relation to your chest circumference.

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a body chest circumference of 80–85 (85–90) 90–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 (130–140) 140–150 cm.

First, take your own measurements before starting the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best.

If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S, as it has a bust circumference of 107 cm.
In this case, the slipover would have 17 cm of positive ease.
