Yarn kit for the Amélie Tee Kids by Petiteknit.

The Amélie T-shirt has a classic straight cut and charming stripes. The fit is uncomplicated and super comfortable. Your little ones will simply love this shirt!

The Amélie Tee is knitted seamlessly from the top down in the round using Sunday by Sandnes Garn. The wonderfully soft merino wool is delightfully fine and feels incredibly good. At the same time, Sunday is super practical and easy to care for. 

The simple stripe pattern is motivating and adds variety while knitting. The color distribution is very balanced, creating a lively and interesting pattern. This makes the shirt incredibly summery, cheerful, and nautical.

Size Guide

The Amélie Tee Junior should have approximately 9 cm of positive ease in relation to the chest circumference. Sizes 1–2 (2–3) 3–4 (4–5) 5–6 (6–7) 7–8 (8–9) 9–10 (10–11) 11–12 (12–13) 13–14 years correspond to a body chest circumference of approximately 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (75) 78 (80) 82 cm. The finished shirt measurements can be found on the cover page (please note that these measurements only apply if the gauge is met). If you/the recipient has a chest circumference of 62 cm, you should choose size 6–7 years. A size 6–7 years shirt has a chest circumference of 71 cm and would therefore have 9 cm of positive ease in this case. If the measured chest circumference differs from the age indication, you should adjust the length to suit the person who will wear the garment. The same applies if the child is smaller/larger than average.
